Bio
Robert Jones grew up in Michigan City, IN just an hour outside the “City of the Big Shoulders,” Chicago. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in English and Philosophy from Indiana University, he moved to San Diego where he attended SDSU and received an M.F.A. in Screenwriting. After five years of teaching and surfing, he moved to Brooklyn with his wife Nora to pursue his PhD at New York University’s Department of Media, Culture & Communication. In addition to being a scholar and educator, he is also a musician, digital filmmaker, life-long gamer, and T-shirt junkie.
